How to use this page:
Modelling Team – Only complete the two (2) sections highlighted in Purple
It is imperative that the relevant teams stick to completing their sections only and no existing data to questions be removed. This avoids confusion and important steps are not missed by other teams.
Thank you for your assistance in advance. Any questions please refer to @Lyle De Groot @Robin Morris @Anjali Dharma-Wardana @Nadia Baptista

Ingest Instructions
Description Value/Instructions Examples
Section mapping If one section leave empty. If multiple, give instruction on how to set sections. Examples:

if colname is ‘OM’ set section to ‘om’.

sheet 2.4 is section ‘us’.

Section names should not contain any special characters or spaces, and preferably match with the submission last year.

Premium column name <colname>
Aggregate limit column name <colname>
Other column mapping instructions

Examples:

  • Tech E&O sublimit column is <colname>

  • attachment column is <colname>

  • currency column is <colname>

Currency of the submission

If all one currency, say which: USD, TRY etc.

If mixed, give instruction. Examples:

  • Mixed: <colname> indicates the currency for each row.

  • Mixed: premium and limit columns are given in USD, revenue column is given in TRY.

Quota share

Give instruction on how quota share should be recorded or calculated. Examples:

  • record <section> at 100% quota share

Direct coverage area exclusions Yes/No If yes, give instruction. Example:

[cmc, ce, lof]

Dependent coverage area exclusions Yes/No If yes, give instruction. Examples:

if section is ‘om’ exclude [cmc, ce, lof]

if <colname> is ‘ABC’, exclude all except [cmc, ce, lof]

Tech E&O present? Yes/No If yes, give instruction. Examples:

tab 2.3 is all Tech E&O

if <colname> = ‘erisk’, then row is blended tech and cyber.

Sections with excess policies Yes/No If all sections, say ‘all sections’, otherwise, write the section names that have excess policies.
Lloyd’s exposure? Yes/No If yes, give instruction on how they are identified. Examples:

the whole portfolio

section ‘om’ has Lloyds exposure

if <colname> = ‘erisk’, then Lloyds exposure

Single row binders <candidate to remove> If none, say ‘None’. If there are single row binders within the data, give instruction on how they are identified.
Expected BDX aggregate limit Provide breakdown by section
Expected BDX premium Provide breakdown by section. Explain how the premium was calculated.

For example, did the UW filter to policies in the last calendar year or last 12 months.

Forecast premium Provide breakdown by section
Forecast rate change Provide breakdown by section
Comments Any other instructions for cleaning

List the section names and their sheet names in the raw data, including RBE and DA:
Section Name Risk Bearing Entity Delegated Authority
<sectionname> CapacityProvider1 (Do not abbreviate the name, we require the full name, i.e. BICI should be ‘British Caribbean Insurance Company’ ) MGA1 (Do not abbreviate the name, we require the full name, i.e. BICI should be ‘British Caribbean Insurance Company’ )

Primary Modelling Analysis

Modelling team to fill out the PURPLE sections below only

Read any documents accompanying the portfolio that outline any constraints that need to be taken into account when cleaning the submission. If instructions are dependent on sections, duplicate the row and indicate the relevant section in section column.
